Our teaching staff are all highly knowledgeable and well-versed
in the various and specific techniques of dance. All of
our teachers follow the same positive- reinforcement teaching
philosophy, with emphasis on building a healthy self-esteem
and sense of accomplishment in each student.

Ms. Hoffman has been teaching dance for over 23-years.
After studying locally, she moved to New Mexico
where she studied under Suzanne Johnston the original
"ballet Laurie" in Oklahoma on Broadway,
Eric Nesbitt, former Principal dancer with the New
York City Ballet, and Karen Cotter, former dancer
with American Ballet Theater II. During that time
she also taught Jazz for the Albuquerque Ballet
Company. She then returned to Harrisburg to open
her own studio, Harrisburg Academy of Dance™.
Since
the Studio began, her students received starring
roles in Broadway productions and have been accepted
to professional Ballet and modern dance companies.
